DAVA, the Da Nang Association of Agent Orange Victims, provides care and assistance to Agent Orange victims and their families in Da Nang, Vietnam. DAVA’s farm produces clean, safe produce for communities to enjoy, while providing Agent Orange victims with employment opportunities. DAVA is the Da Nang extension of VAVA, the Vietnamese Association of Victims of Agent Orange.
Currently, DAVA’s farm spans 7,000 square meters and grows a wide variety of vegetables. These include eggplant, spinach, winter melon, katuk, lettuce, and sweet potatoes).
The farm also houses more than 1,000 oyster mushroom colonies and piglets.
The fruiting trees found on site include banana, mango, jack fruit, acacia, and papaya.
There are 50 children who benefit from DAVA between the ages of 10-20.
Evergreen Labs has teamed up with DAVA on a project to promote a closed circuit from food waste to food production.

The food waste gathered from nearby hotels will be used in a composting project that will then be used to improve DAVA’s agricultural output.
The food will be sold back to hotels, and the food waste generated thereon will go back into the closed system.
